From NYR: Nylander, Straka, Ozolinsh, and Unsigned Prospect Cliche From Tor: Lindros, Allison, o'Neil Mark yes to allow the trade I voted no because if he wants to rebuild he should get some quality young guys, not older guys who are worse then the guys he gives up. It just doesn't make sense.

I voted no, my long winded reply can be seen in another thread. Bottom line is the Toronto GM should shape up: use common sense when dealing on these boards. You can't try to rescind a trade, you have to use the full version of the game, etc.

Do not put the blame on me. And do not say I need to make a better trade. And spell avoid correct. And use the spell check.
I realize this is a terrible trade and I must admit the true reason that I made this poll was to make a point that everyone really needs to pay attention to the trades.
I also need some of you to realize that just because you wanted the guy and someone else got him, do not complain about it. The first person to make a complaint was also attempting to get Jeff O'Neil. He did not get him, so he made a complaint.
You must only file a complaint if a trade really is lopsided. I understand that this probably what he did, but I just want people to understand that the power for us to veto is not a power, but a privalege. Many online leagues would not allow this right, but we decided to. Use this power properly, or it may very well be taken away.
Also, Since you have all heard my argument, and I am tired of seeing superbruins mispell words, I will call this trade off. I do ask that we change some rules, however:
1. Do not allow someone in until we have his/her msn id. Period. No exceptions. No one should be able to skip any rules.
2. Everyone is required to have the full version of the game and I suggest a reasonable amount of experience. I understand this is a rule, and that their is no true way of policeing this, but we should at least look into it.
So, as I said before, this trade is officially nullified by me. I still think we need to discuss the issue of superbruins, however.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention rescinding trades. The way I see it, it is like a contract. If you sign it (or in this case, post agreeance), you have to follow it.
I am sorry if you misread the trade, but it is just too bad. In the real world, you cannot back out of a contract.
And giving a time limit to back out, I disagree with this for the same reason. If you double read the trade, or triple read, you should get the exact trade you are looking for, or you change the post. Also, put a copy of the trade in a quotes box in your agreement so it is not changed

And one final comment. I am sorry that everyone had to go through all of this, especially Hank and InSTAALed. However, in the end, I really believe it will help our league go smoother

Yes I wanted O'Neill but I hadn't even talked to the guy about him so talk about what you know. Everything you've said is true for the most part, that people can't reneg on deals in real life or whatever. But this is supposed to be a run game for everyone and if teams RUIN themselves by making complete nuts trades then people won't stick around. I take huge offense you think I object soley because I wanted O'Neill. Yes I wanted him but he is no better then the guys I have already, I just wanted to see what he would cost me. He was traded before I ever got the chance to trade for him, and if you want to hold onto your ignorance in your thinkin go ahead.

I was not talking about you abyss. The other person who was bidding knows who he is, and I agree everyone should vote this trade down. It is a terrible trade, but we still need to reach votes unless I am given this one chance to stop the trade (although I should not allow it to be).
