I'm going to ask everyone to have patience with me at this point. I'm still figuring out this software and making trades has proven to be an issue. Since I need to take control of the teams to perform the deals, it appears that the system won't let me relinquish control unless I 'retire' the GM.
A couple of notes too:
1. Set coach games yourself to "No". Like cujo_31 said if this is set to 'yes' then I'll have to watch every single game that's played where this setting is applied. I also like the idea of the coach taking control because, after all, you hired them. If you don't like how they do you can always fire them and hire a new one.
2. I still haven't seen the following GM's log in: Florida, Atlanta, Minnesota, Toronto, St.Louis and San Jose. If nobody signs in to these teams by Thursday at midnight I will be firing those GM's and looking for new ones.
As soon as I get this control thing figured out I'll PM everyone to let them know the server is available.
(And no, rebooting the server is not the solution. This has been done 3 times this morning).

I'm not able to join the game today - "Could not join online game" I know. I'm still having issues with the server. I have no idea how DMNHL did it where they took control of the teams to make trades. Once I took control the only way I can relinquish it is if I retire the current GM. I can do that, but when you logon to retake control all the news bulletins will be gone.

you can put the GM on vacation instead of retiring the GM. This way when they join back in they just go off of vacation and everything is okay.

Are you hitting continue before you put the GM's on vacation?
That's what messed me up the first time, so that may be causing problems for you.

When I go to log in I can't take my team because it says "On Vacation (Watching)"

Ok... so most likely the problem is a result of a GM that setup a password. If we can figure out who it is and retire them we should be okay again.
