To keep the other thread clean, post any suggestions or changes you want considered to the rules here.
Nothing stupid either..

The following rules have been suggested:
1) No signing Lou Lamerillo or Ken Holland because they cause the server to crash.
2) You must have the full game, not the trial, to play.

Maybe that all users that was in the game when the server crashes could post in a forum what they were doing so we could find out about "THE THINGS THAT MAKE THE GAME CRASH". (have to be pronounced with a movie trailer announcer voice)

I sugges that we create a Trade comitie, that will validate the trade . I play in virtual hockey ligue and we use to do that. The comite could be compose from 3 to 5 membre with 1 or 2 membre that are part of the comities for one month.
1. Trade will be comfirme much faster.
Only a suggestion

I think Hank has to be the one to put the trades through because if other people do it crashes.

I don't think it matters if Hank has to make the trades. Having a trade committee will streamline the process. You have a group of 3 to 5 guys that need to approve each trade with a minimum of lets say 2 approvals. Once you have the two approvals the trade can then be processed by Hank and the thread can be locked. This way Hank only needs to scan the trade board for trades that have already been approved, and can ignore all the others. We can also get rid of the poll which is lame.

I agree with the idea of a trade committee, but I think it would be unfair to anyone who really wants to vote. What if we say if after so many people vote, if over 60% want to cancel the trade, then the committee decides. If a commitee member is involved in the trade, a substitute will take over for that trade

I'm talking about putting them through in game.
3-5 people isn't enough either.

I think a trade committee is an excellent idea. Giving every GM the power of a voter in a system where a panel of judges is more appropriate is inefficient at best. In another league I play, there are three on such a committe and unless there is an outrageously large protest from the remainder of the GM's, their decision holds. I think three is an ideal number, five is a max, any more seems wasteful. And at this point, any move we can make to create efficiency in this league is a positive step to take.

Hmm, I think there is a misconception here between the server crashing, or the server become frozen. Speaking from experience, I have only see a server freeze when a contract is offered to guys like Lou or Ken, same with having different game versions. It does not crash, it just facilitates an error on the host's screen. The host simply has to click ok on the screen for the server to unfreeze.

Do I even have to respond to this You do realize that you can purchase the game and digitally download it if you have the try and buy version right Thats how I got mine..

I agree. I am positive the demo is not very compatable, and in 6 months, the GM has to quit
