I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to meet with me. Most of you will know me as the new GM of Vancouver. I am pleased to be here but I will be making a few changes to the team to make them fit with my style.
Stay tuned for my trading block.

I am glad to welcome you all here again. No doubt you are here in response to the latest trades I've made.
We've brought in 3 new players. Nolan Pratt, Vaclav Prospal and Martin St. Louis. I am excited to see how these players will fit in.
We will of course be quite sad to see Bertuzzi, Cooke and Park leave. But I think on the part of Bertuzzi it is time for a change. With all that has happened here and all the hard feelings surely to be had in Colorado I feel a move to the East will be good for him.
On a final note I just want to say... stay tuned as we are not done trading yet. I still want to bring in a starting goaltender.

The Vancouver Canucks welcome Cliff Ronning back to the team this time as Head Coach. Cliff will be responsible for all the day to day tasks such as practice and coaching the games. As GM I will be assisting him and offering my input but I will be leaving it up to him for the most part.
Cliff's style of hockey, his offensive style and tight defensive game will hopefully match my vision for the team. His dedication to the game and go get'em attitude displayed prominently in the '94 Stanley Cup game. Even though we lost in game 7 to the Rangers, Ronnings dedication to the Canucks was displayed as he played with a broken hand.
Welcome home Cliff.
