Sorry, but I doubt the Canes can go all the way. They have no depth in the event of injury. The only teams in the East I could say will go all the way are Philadelphia or Ottawa

Well... They would have depth if Brooks Orpik wasn't a goon

Oilers 2nd goal was bogus, but the Wings eventually rallied back and one. Good game, overall bad reffing

How was the second goal bogus...
A slapshot went in the net... OH MY GOD ILLEGAL!
If your talking about the "goaltender interference" he got pushed into the goalie going for a rebound, so that doesn't matter.

Two things... The penalty was a serious exageration, and yes, the goalie was bumped intentionally. Watch the replay, the momentum of the player picks up about two seconds after the check

Wow, the 'Canes sure love to get blown out at home Laviolette better work them like dogs tomorrow, or I will be disappointed. Our defense was nonexistant, Gerber gave up soft goals, and we gave no effort. It's times like these where I really hate Brooks Orpik because he pretty much screwed our playoff hopes. It's pretty sad when some punk from a team with nothing left to play for knocks out a star player for the rest of the year...

Gerber isn't a real goalie. For christ sake's, I can't believe how a goaltender that has so big equipement can let the puck go by him so many times in a game. Seriously, how can you not stop the puck when you are THAT big?

Actually, I give major props to the Habs for figuring out that Gerbs only weakness is his glove. Took you guys long enough, but you found it

Please stop complaiing about Orprik's hit on Cole. I understand, he took out a star player, but Cole brought it upon himself. Had he not turned into the hit to embelish the call, he would still be playing. To make matters worse, the 'Canes had enough warning to know they were going to be contenders, so they could trade for better players and add some depth, but they should have done even if they were not going to lose a star. Furthermore, with the play of Huet tonight, I really doubt that Cole would have had much of a difference.
Gerber just had a bad game and I am sure he will bounce back. On the other hand, as I recall, the last time Montreal was in the 7th seed, they did beat the 2nd seeded Bruins, so who knows
