I figured since I've updated the rosters I'd keep the server running so that people could log in and take a look at what needs to be done to their team. I won't be simming any days until Monday but at least you see what work lies ahead for your club. If you're the Canadiens you'll probably need more time than most teams.  |

AWESOME!!! i will be logging in...
-- so we can make offer on staff and stuff eh? and make trades (with only other human GM's), just no simming until the league is full?
-- and we must NOT do trades IN-GAME... it ruins the game... what the league i am also in does is, they post the trades on the message board and the commish prosscess them at the end of every week..

Well, you can make offers to scouts, staff, players, etc but since I won't be progressing the game at all until Monday you won't see much of a return until then. Just one question, wouldn't it be better if we would have a few background leagues. Canadian jrs, a few europeen league, AHL and ECHL. That way we could see how our prospects, potential draft picks or older free agents are doing. Maybe it would just slow the game too much?

Saku That's a great idea if it doesn't slow things down too much. I would say we should have AHL, ECHL, WHL, OHL, QMJHL, Sweden, Finland, and Russia on if possible. |

Saku I'm pretty new to this software so please bare with my ignorance. Has anyone else been in a league where this is possible? Does it simply show the players stats etc? Is there no other way to see how players around the world are doing? I have no objection to doing this if it isn't too taxing on the system. I don't think it would be. |

There will be stats for players but it will be based on how good the player is only. There won't any games played. There won't be any schedule in these league. Also the player developement is better in selected leagues. This means that, in our game, Finland players would tend to get better than let's say, swedes. Also, there wouldn't be any Memorial cup.
I don't think that it affects that much the game. I personnaly select more leagues when I play because I like to see with who my prospects play (tactics screen, which you won't see if teams don't play), how well they play in playoffs games, if they have won championships in the juniors. I also like to see how well my farm team plays.
I would personnally choose more leagues, though, I understand that to do so, we would have to restart and I don't mind if people don't want to. Also, I never played in an online league with EHM 2005 and I don't know if it could cause the game to slow too much.

Considering that we've only had one days worth of activity I don't think there would be too much that would have to be redone.
If some object that's fine. But if everyone is on board with running the other leagues as well then I will do it.

I am not opposed to a restart but I think it is possible to add the leagues in the options selected leagues. I might be wrong... perhaps you can only change them to enhanced etc.
