Toronto loses O'Neil + Lindros +Allison for NYR's Immonen+ Wisemen +Sakic +Straka
I know, seems like a big trade. First let me explain. This game makes Glenn Sather look like an idiot with how much he payed the team. How it worked this year baffles me. But in the manager, it just will not work. I am to close to th cap to argue against this, and although Immonen is a great prospect, I still have a few that should be contributers in a few seasons. This should hel pwe with a pretty good 1-2 bang up front.
Based on all of this, NYR accepts

Toronto Gladly Accepts
Immonen and Wisemen will be great prospects for the future of this team, and sakic will turn into a great leader on this team, and straka will add some nice scoreing depth up front, in all i belive this trade will really help my team nicely

I cannot agree to this trade as it seems to be the same trade you guys did last week that got us into a crisis. I think if someone wants to rebuild, and cut in the salaries, he needs to get prospects, not give them with his best players. And all that to get old players that will get injured every two weeks and that are not that low in salary. The question that is being asked is "do you think this trade is fair?" My answer is no and this is my vote. I would like to add though that, I don't think we should accept trade based on "is it fair or not". I think the only way we should veto a trade is that we think someone is cheating. They manage two teams and trade the best players to one of the team. I don't think this is the case here. Only one gm that really wants some players that are in my opinion really overated in his mind. Some gm's will make bad decisions and I don't think we can do anything about it. I might do some, we all might do some mistakes. And at one point, if our team is going bad, we will get fired and someone on the waiting list will have a great challenge. That's it. I hope my message is clear because I am one of the Frenchies and I am not too comfortable with English.

What this trade is doing is allowing the Leafs to have veteran support this season so that the younger players (like immonen) can become more well rounded. Why not compete to let the players get better? I mean, if he was taking Nylander in this trade, who is terrible in this game for some reason, I can understand calling this the same trade, but all the players I give him play well. Sakic and Straka have at least two good seasons left, and Immonen and Wiseman can be a good part of the future. Am I saying that you should not have any reason to disagree? No. Do what you feel is right, I am just explaining my side of it.

Wiseman I doubt will ever amount to anything but maybe my scouts are wrong. Can't say its the best trade but its passable.

That is exactly what I am saying. Sakic and Straka are better players than Lindros, Allison and O'Neil. Sakic might be in the top 5 best scorer at the end of the season. And plus, the Leafs have good prospects.
What I am saying is that the Leafs made a big trade.

I think this is clean because sakic and Straka are 2 good players and sakic could be a good captin and score some points and straka can put up points and immonen is gonna be a good prospect and wisemen could turn into a good 3rd or 4th liner or could end up being more so i think this trade is deffinally clean

Freedom to deal, freedom to contract. It's a basic underpinning of business in our society and unless there's a clear disparity in bargaining power between the two parties we can assume both are negotiating in a fair position and with their best interests in mind. To reject a trade because we don't like a small aspect of it is just an abuse of power we don't really deserve. Let the trade go and let about 99% of them go unless it's clear somebody is taking advantage of a new and/or uneducated GM.

This deal could not be done because Sakic never made his way to the Rangers due to draft picks that were not owned by certain teams.
